Roanoke ranked #7 on list of cities with the most content workers
Roanoke was ranked #7 on USA Today's list of "Cities with the most content workers."
The RBTC is recognized for cultivating an entrepreneurial culture in the region
"Montgomery County has a supportive entrepreneurial culture that is cultivated by the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council and is home to several successful corporate parks, including the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center and Falling Branch Corporate Park in Christiansburg."
NuSpark Hosts Successful Launch & Pitch Competition
Over 200 people attended the launch of a new space called NuSpark February 3rd in Blacksburg, VA. The atmosphere was electric as students from area universities and community members competed for $1500 in prize money for their start-up in NuSpark’s inaugural pitch competition.

The Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council has had 341 unique jobs posted by 63 companies in the last year and more than 1,500 people posting their resumes.
