Rebecca "Bekka" Finch, Office Manager

Bekka has been with the RBTC since 2009 - from volunteer to part-time administrative assistant and now as the office manager. As one half of a busy organization, she is usually planning events, doing financials, managing peer groups, or attempting to wrangle Cory - along with about a hundred other things!

Bekka grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland (right outside of Northwest DC) in the Maryland I-270 Technology Corridor. She attended Roanoke College and played soccer for one year before transferring to Virginia Tech. She graduated from VT in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English - Professional Writing.

Prior to coming to the RBTC (NCTC), Bekka was a property manager (and part of another 2.5 person company!) for Capital Realty Management Group, Inc. in Rockville, Maryland. While there she managed over 400+ tenants at 11+ properties in Maryland, DC and Virginia. After 3 years of unbelievable (and annoying traffic), Bekka decided to relocate back to the Roanoke - Blacksburg region.

Bekka currently referees high school basketball and soccer and is attempting to break into the college basketball officiating market. She is also the assistant head coach at Glenvar High School (Salem, VA) for the girls varsity soccer team and the assistant head coach of the 14U Christiansburg Crossfire girls soccer team. With any spare time she has left, Bekka enjoys traveling home to Maryland or anywhere else that strikes her fancy - which is usually Las Vegas!
