RBTC Wish List

If you’re in the giving (or if you just have some equipment you no longer need), the following is a list of things the RBTC could put to good use.


Materials, Software, and Equipment

  • Office Furniture: If you’re getting rid of office furniture that’s in good shape, we’d like to take a look at it. Right now, a large credenza (to store the various supplies) would be helpful.

  • Projector: A decent "In Focus" projector (or other brand) that could be used at our events to display PowerPoint presentations.

  • Software: Microsoft Office 2010, Adobe Photoshop

  • Artwork for the RBTC Offices – We’d love to use our walls to promote technology in our region. If you have artwork or pictures that are framed and ready to hang, please let us know.


  • Peer Group Coordinators: Get your employees involved with the RBTC. We coordinates various peer groups. Each hosts 1-12 meetings throughout the year. Many groups would welcome additional members to help steer the topics, recruit presenters, take notes, coordinate committee calls, etc. Peer Groups include: IT Professionals, Software Developers, Life Sciences Research Group, Interactive Designers, Sales & Marketing, and the Advanced Operations Group.

  • Events Prep and Staff: We can use help preparing for and staffing our various events: our monthly Tech & Toast meetings and our larger events (TechNite, Tech Expo, and the Fall Gala). Tasks include preparing and organizing name tags, event planning & management,  onsite preparation, and guest assistance at the event.

  • Public Relations: The RBTC often has events and accomplishments to share that are newsworthy. Having someone to help prepare press releases would be fantastic.

  • Website admin(s): To help keep our information, events, and news updated.
