2009 TechNite Award Nominees and Winners
On May 21st, in front of a record TechNite crowd, the first-ever People's Choice Award was presented along with five other awards. NCTC President Mary Miller, Master of Ceremonies Peter Jobse, and multiple award presenters commented on the growing momentum of the NewVa region's technology community. The largest-ever crowd and common theme of the presenters indicate the growing importance of the "knowledge economy" in our region's future. If you were not able to join us for this year's TechNite, we hope to see you next year!
The 2009 TechNite Award nominees were announced on April 15th by United States Senator Mark Warner at a reception in Roanoke. The award categories and nominees for this year's TechNite Awards are as follows. (View the 2008 nominees and award winners.)
