RBTC is partnered with the RBIN in expanding its participation in the region’s Innovation Blueprint to help start and grow vibrant tech companies. The RBTC is developing an Ambassador Program that will act as a conduit between our tech community and entrepreneurs and education programs, helping to find mentors for startups and experiential learning opportunities (internships, STEM programs, etc.) for students. Mentoring Program: Developing our region's entrepreneurs, startup and emerging tech companies

The Blueprint and RBTC is excited about the opportunity to engage the region’s tech community in helping each other and our future entrepreneurs. These questions will help us understand where you wish to be involved.

Mentoring new companies and young entrepreneurs is an invaluable part of a strong economy. A central aspect of the Ambassador program will be a mentoring function, matching experienced entrepreneurs and professionals with those starting new companies.

Are you interested in being a mentor of a startup company or a student entrepreneurial project?

Talent Development: Helping Students Prepare for Successful Careers

The Ambassador program will act as a conduit to educational institutions to connect businesses with regional efforts that prepare students for careers in innovation-based industries. This includes STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programs, business school programs, and internships and co-ops ranging from scientific and technical fields to communications and marketing majors.

STEM: Would you or your company be interested in participating in the following type of STEM programs:

I, or people in my company would participate as a speaker sharing information about our industry/occupation

Our business would participate in STEM camps, courses, etc. as instructors, coaches, etc

Talent Recruitment

The Ambassador Program is also set up to help recruit and retain talent. We know when your company is recruiting talent from outside the region, it is helpful to integrate a recruit or their spouse/partner into the region. As an Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to help or be helped with talent recruitment.
