"Agile: Scaling up without bogging down" is an overview of how the agile practices work in the real world at various scales. Using examples, stories, and diagrams, you'll learn how the pieces fit together -- and can scale both up and down -- depending on your unique situation.
Agile practices covered will include: TDD, Pair-Programming, Co-location, Continuous Integration, System Architecture, Daily Scrums, Release Planning, backlogs, and sustainable pace.
Daniel Markham is a hands-on technologist with over 20 years experience in programming, teaming, coaching, and setting up coaching groups across the country. His clients include Charles Schwab, Pitney Bowes, State Farm, Ford Motor Company, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and the Department of Defense, among others. He's written "ScrumMaster", an aide to help new ScrumMasters get started, and the ScrumMaster companion video, which is a series of whiteboard chats on things as diverse as preparing for an Agile Adoption or setting up a team room. He lives in South-Central Virginia.
