It's WoTech Time!
Join us for a networking event & tour of the new Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech!
The Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech is creating a thriving creative community fueled by inspiration, where patrons have meaningful experiences, enjoying arts of the highest caliber in a wide variety of forms. The center's modern technological installations for the performing arts include a 150,000-square-foot facility which includes the four-story experimental "Cube" for performance, immersive environments, installation, and adjacent research studios.
The WoTech community is hosting a mixer and networking event at the Center for the Arts and you're invited! We'll have a casual mixer with appetizers and cocktails, followed by a brief presentation from Ruth Waalkes, Associate Provost for the Arts at Virginia Tech and Ben Knapp, Director of Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology. Lastly, we'll tour the state-of-the-art facility!
Attendees will learn how Virginia Tech is creating opportunities to blend the arts and technology to offer multi-faceted learning opportunities and community engagement, and network with other professional women in technology in our region!
