Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required. Proficiency in PHP, Javascript, SQL database development and MVC development required. Experience with Laravel, Bootstrap and jQuery, as well as, strong client service skills preferred.

CAD Drafter - Christiansburg, Virginia
This position is responsible for transforming redlined drawings into working construction documents using BIM and AutoCad. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to established specifications, building codes and architectural/engineering standards. The Cad Drafter will work closely with several project managers to produce documents at various phases of design.

The successful candidate will be able to apply commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures from architecture and construction fields as they relate to construction document production. They will possess at minimum their AAS degree in CAD Design/Architecture or other applicable field of study, BS preferred. Also required is 1-2 years of AutoCad, Revit, and architectural office/design experience. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in AutoCad 2013 and Revit 2013, and must be able to submit samples of prior Revit projects. Experience with graphic programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and rendering programs including SketchUp and 3D Studio Max are desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Write and optimize front-end code using SCSS, HTML, and Javascript.

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders over the course of a project.

  • Deep understanding of HTML5 markup and modern CSS.

  • Proficiency in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
  • Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

• Current operational experience with Microsoft Windows and one other operating system, preferably Linux.
• Experience implementing comprehensive technology solutions to meet requirements, with an impeccable attention to detail. • Solid understanding of general networking concepts, preferably in a production environment.
• Preference will be given to candidate with the following skills and experience:
o Experience providing cybersecurity and/or IT solutions in operational technology (OT) environments.

Product Manager - Blacksburg, Virginia Modea is seeking a Product Manager with the innate ability to conduct analysis, provide answers to key business questions and help drive the product roadmap of our wireless telecom division. The Product Manager works with customers, as well as cross-functionally with engineering, sales and marketing, to successfully develop products that meet their needs. The role will work closely with engineering leadership to drive the product roadmap at the Product Management and Portfolio levels.  You will also have the ability to develop product strategies, lead the planning cycle following our Lean-Agile development methodology, and use your deep understanding of business intelligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceive, document and own the full product life cycle
    Manage product release plans and lead the cross-functional Lean PDLC Portfolio Management process
  • Collaborate with product engineering to deliver value to customers in increments using our Lean-Agile process; combining Agile Kanban and Agile Scrum with Lean Engineering
  • Actively participate in the Lean PDLC Strategic Management process
