We are excited to introduce this online learning opportunity exclusively for our RBTC members in 2015.

This member benefit will virtually connect companies with regional experts on a variety of topics.

Space is limited for these noon presentations, so please gather your team and spend the lunch hour with us.

Our August presentation will be:

Who Owns "Your" Intellectual Property?

It’s not as simple as you might think. For instance, you might not own what your employee invents. You might not own what you pay someone to create. You may sign a seemingly harmless one-page document and lose your IP.  Your casual conversations about some great ideas may leave you unprotected. And friendly collaboration or help can give someone else rights to “your” invention. These are just a few scenarios to consider when it comes to preserving and protecting your ideas.
This webinar will be presented by attorneys Nathan Evans and Fourd Kemper of Woods Rogers PLC.

Presented by

Nathan Evans

Nathan is an attorney with Woods Rogers who focuses on intellectual property (IP), including patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and antitrust issues. He assists start-ups and established companies in protecting and defending their IP rights.
