Technology Council Staff
The day to day operations of the Technology Council are carried out by the Executive Director, Gordie
Zeigler.
Executive Director
Gordie Zeigler oversees all operational aspects of the Technology Council, including Council programs and initiatives, membership growth, committee functions, and sponsorship
opportunities.
Gordie's
background
includes over 10 years of business-to-business sales and sales management. Previously,
he was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Productivity Point International of Richmond
(PPI), a provider
of blended learning services in the technology industry. While at PPI, he was
recognized for leading the sales team to best-ever results in revenues. Prior to working for
PPI, he was the Account Executive
for Computer Resource Team in the eastern Virginia market. Computer Resource Team is an Oracle consulting firm and reseller founded in Blacksburg.
Gordie
is a Cum Laude graduate of the
University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing Management studies and Business-to-Business sales.
Gordie
lives in Roanoke County with his wife and two daughters. A
self-professed endurance sports "junkie", he enjoys competing in
marathons and triathlons. He
has helped spread that obsession, having served as a marathon coach
for the Leukemia Society’s “Team in Training” program.

Angela
Bennett provides assistance to the executive director, as well as management
of events and registration, membership questions, database management, and
bookkeeping for the NCTC.
Angela
has over 10 years experience as an Office Manager. She has a high aptitude for
computer software programs as well as a solid background in bookkeeping.
Angela has a passion for non-profits and believes in working to achieve and
maintain their mission.
Angela
has one son (Andre) and together they enjoy fishing, camping and hiking.
Angela is also a voracious reader and currently volunteers at Literacy Volunteers
of Roanoke Valley.
