NCTC FY 2004 Sponsorship Program

Southwest Virginia’s economy is in transition. Our traditional economy -- based in manufacturing, transportation, and agriculture -- is rapidly giving way to information technology and biotech. We are poised to become Virginia’s Technology Corridor.

The NewVa Corridor Technology Council, a member-driven organization, was formed to help pave the road to the technology-based economy and promote this region as a center for technology.  The Council needs corporate support for it to grow.

Sponsorships will help in:

• NCTC Events, such as the Technology Awards, Technology & Toast, Technology Resource Directory

• Educational and Technical Programs

• Initiatives to Improve the Region’s Image as Virginia’s Technology Corridor

• Communications Focused on Technology (web site development, e-newsletters, Regional Technology Directory)

• Legislative Advocacy for Region
